Also, my first "real" embroidery project is going to be the tree door to the Mines of Moria by which I mean, the Doors of Durin (Been tool long since I've read it), cause, ya know, when do I ever start with something easy? Not sure about the color combination, yet. I was initially thinking black work, but I think it might be a shame to have the door in black. Maybe gold or silver thread on white. Just checked references, apparently it reflected in silver. So now I'm thinking silver thread on black.
